About the Gazette

Grathew's Gazette is a worldbuilding blog, a writer's newsletter, and
a home for short fiction, all in one place. It runs on a simple idea:
that the best stories are built on worlds someone actually thought
through, and that the thinking is worth sharing.

So the Gazette tries to do three things. Teach you how to build a
world. Show you how to turn that world into a story. And entertain
you with fiction that puts both into practice. If you're a
worldbuilder, a writer, or a reader who likes their fiction with
some depth under the surface, there's something here for you.
