Ep. 10
For those wondering “Why is this going out on a Monday evening?” I may have spent too much of my Sunday writing and then it was Wrath and Glory (D6 Warhammer 40k TTPRG) time, and then I fell asleep. I outlined this, didn’t get to typing it out. My apologies.
Anyway since the last dispatch. I recorded the third episode of Conspiring Lemurs episode two should be up soon, I’m in the middle of editing of it. Audio editing is hard. I’ve done the first pass of the polish pass on Noah Bannon. Uploading them as edits soon. The “worldbuilder’s commentary” will be coming soon. On the continuing the story front Noah’s first away mission is starting. Any thoughts on that? I’m excited to see what you all think about it. As we are finally leaving what I’ve penciled in as the ‘set up’ which I know some would say “skip it” but I thought you’d like to see some of the set up to the next chapter. Which is where I had originally thought about starting it. Regardless the pacing will pick up soon. Also on the Noah Bannon front Royal Road got a new cover. It’s an AI generation that is a good 75%. If anyone knows any artists with a Sci-Fi vibe looking for commissions (or if you are one) shoot me a message. I would love to replace it with something human.
Moving on to Project Ghost I have a lot of reference pictures generated, and a good start on the text. I should go talk with the artist I’m thinking should do the cover. More to the to do list. I think the launch will be good fun. I’m excited to see what you all think of it once I get it out there. I hope it’s interesting enough without being too different from where I’ve been before.
On the side projects I have most of a short story ready that may be going out in an anthology centered on the internet icon Amelia. We will see trying to rush out an anthology seems to be causing more problems. I may extend it into a novella and publish it here. Will be looking into which way those winds blow. The 100 post short story “Thunder Fall” is likely going out sometime this week. I need to do a touch more polishing. Again todo list is long and I am chipping away at it slowly.
Lastly a note of admin. Because Substack refuses to give me a way to send emails of the posts and auto open the comments to everyone. I’ve replaced the comment button with the chat button. To my knowledge it works similarly but you have to be a subscriber to see it. Probably not the best solution but it’s the one I got. My apologies for the mess that was January there was some teething issues. I think in those issues the last WW got eaten. Thus if you missed it I’ll link it below.
