Technically this is post 101 to the substack. Which means I cleared 100 articles!

Hurray!

I had originally planned on post 100 being a short story to celebrate hitting the milestone. Turns out, I’m bad at math. While I’m still going to post said short story I’m going to do that tomorrow it will be post 102! Still thank you for those of you who’ve stuck with me since the beginning and I hope to see you all as we continue onwards into the future. To say I’m just getting started over here may be an understatement. I have plans on top of plans.

First thing I want to do is figure out if there’s a way I can get the articles to go from the paid early access to free and let people comment. So far no luck, and I apologize for the last Worldbuild Wednesday being a bit of a hash. I think I got it working in the end but we will see with the upcoming Noah Bannon chapter (it releases today). If you can’t comment send me a message and I’ll figure out something else to do with them. Maybe I’ll start a subscriber’s chat for each article? Or I can do a mailbag round up at the end of each week where I post the different comments and reply to them? Let me know which you’d like to see.

Speaking of Noah Bannon I’m going to be doing a polish pass on the whole thing. Those first few chapters are rather rough and while I don’t want to polish it to a silky, glossy finish, some of those mistakes are frankly repugnant. Thus I will be going over them in the next couple of weeks. This is being done because I was re-reading the early chapters and I found a wall of errors I missed when I went to put it out. Not only do I think it’s a bit unprofessional to leave them there now that I know they are there, I want to add another layer of content from it. I’m going to set it up, and double and triple check what I want to do and how I want to do it.

I’ll probably drop a ‘official guide to Grathew’s Gazette’ post in the near future and pin it. It will have all the scheduled, and unscheduled things and where and when they will emerge from the vault, amongst other things.

Anyway, looping back to Noah Bannon new chapter today, around noon. I think it’s a good one, lot of lore gets teased. Then things will escalate quickly. Very quickly. But hey, what’s the worst that can happen to Noah?

Yes I had to go and change tomorrow to today since I realized it was past midnight.

Other than that I am wrapping up festivals, this weeks is on the power of festivals and where it comes from what it can do Saturday has Sci-Fi Saturday on interplanetary/interstellar festivals. Which I think a few of you could use.
